Author
Francis R. Beattie (1848-1906; PhD, Illinois Wesleyan College) was born near Guelph, Ontario, and ministered in Canadian Presbyterian congregations for ten years before taking up seminary professorships first at Columbia Theological Seminary in Columbia, SC, and then at Presbyterian Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY. He died in Louisville, KY.
